 Once again the cabaret team saved the day, pulling in a lively and enthusiastic crowd at Showtimes.

Anna, in a lovely blonde wig just prior to going on stage. The highlight for this rather jaded

cabaret-watcher. Always spot on with her lip-sync and regularly changes her songs, and appearance

providing a welcome change in routine for the regular visitor. I'm delighted she's back on the straight

and narrow, and proving a real asset to the bar

Friday/Saturday

 

 Following the recent trend: friday was busy at Showtimes with plenty of tourists in to watch the shows, but no familiar faces for me to hang out with.

 Took a stroll up the soi and found a troupe of Tai Pan dancers advertising their club mustered at the top of soi Bangla. Mostly pretty ordinary looking little munters, but with the occasional looker thrown in the mix

Tuesday Night

 I inwardly groaned, but in they came, dutifully bought drinks, and cheered and clapped enthusiastically throughout the performance.

 In fact the bar got jam-packed by the start time  . With a distinct lack of BMs and mongers around at the moment, i was very happy to see 60 or 70 people in the place.

We decided to take a look inside the new club: ILLUZION.

It was 60s/70s night, so the music was very familiar to me, albeit a bit

over Sophea's head, lol !

 An appreciably quieter night, after the excitement of last week's Chinese New Year, and a complete absence of the Goblins in the bar.

 Am also noticing an early start to the appearance of "For Sale" signs, and the shutters already coming down on a few places:
