A refreshing initiative - seems to have been halted, though. As a composer/arranger myself I might even wanna do something similar here in Indo.... :-) Well, actually did it a few years back, unfortunately the auditioning was not strong enough when shit hit the fan(s), so to speak...
The whole trick here, as I view it, must be to find a tasteful balance between good music and the ever so usual "low-Q comedy act" that seems to be the prime approach when it comes to trans-woman in showbiz. "GURLZ!" seems to be going in that direction as well.

Slightly unrealistic I ofcourse want them to be as harmonically tight as Singers Unlimited - that's probably gonna take a wee bit of work - but wouldn't it be musically fantastic? A trans-band that could actually sing harmony?

According to their Facebook page the first album will be released in December. They have already aired episodes of GURLZ on Sky TV - but considering the lack of news - it doesn't look good for the band.

Sorry to bump an old topic but can anyone provide a source for this in particular? I don't think any of them have done
pornos. Sure there are escorts but as far as I know they have turned down recent porn offers so Im curious to see if thats true.
