I saw the first 2 episodes.  Sounds like everyone is trying to enrich their life.  Nothing wrong with that in my book.

If you never try, you will never know.

Go for it everybody, you only lose your own time.

I met Alex on my last trip to Bangkok. She could not have been friendlier and sweeter. Excellent English. Why anyone would not wish these ladies well is beyond me. Looks like they were having the time of their lives, and I hope that continues.

sleazy sensations bar owner what a fucken grub

You must not be an outsider to have formulated such a strong opinion of the LB bars of Pattaya. That means you must have been to these sleazy places yourself, right?

That makes you a patron of sleaze, right? A patron that is angry for some reason.

Did someone snub you? Did they offend you in some unforgivable way? Was it a squabble over a bottle of beer, a lady drink?

What horrible drama unfolded upon you to unleash your wrath?

How foolish of them to to draw your ire, because now they must endure your poorly worded taunts.

Oh! The humanity!

Here's a video featuring one of their singles. Sky has started airing the episodes featuring the band in the UK.

I know we all wish them well but this is pretty awful. Still never stopped a host of others from grabbing their moment in the spotlight.

I reluctantly have to agree that the song is pretty awful. I also want them to do well, but that song falls flat because of the novelty aspect of it.

A big juicy COCK_tail is a bit too blatant of a sexual reference for an LB band, it makes it corny.

They already have an aura of sexuality by virtue of being LBs, underlining their sexuality with "big juicy cocktails" makes them have an aura of a lame joke, or a carnival side show.

I hope they can cultivate a more mainstream pop sound and style of songs, they'd stand a better chance of getting a song heard by broader audiences. They have significantly narrowed their market with that song.

They are beautiful LBs and I hope they can follow that song up with something a little better.

I feel the biggest challenge they have right now is the promoter and the agreement they have with Sky TV doing the TV show. Instead of attempting to make their mark on musical talent, the promoter/manager is emphasizing the sensational/curiosity aspect of being ladyboys. This is a short term strategy and may gain them some publicity, but this won't last unless they demonstrate some serious talent.

I hear you, then again I'm looking at their promotion from an American cultural lens. We tend to be far more reserved about matters of sexuality than Europe or Asia when it comes to what we put in our mass media.

In my line of thinking, over touting their status as Transgenders dulls their mystique, it doesn't enhance it. If you hit the public with it too hard, they have nothing left to be curious about.

The music business is tough, there are thousands of talented acts who never make it. I still wish them luck.

You need to work on your insults. Calling someone a cock sucker isn't really an insult on this forum.

Sky TV / Murdoch empire. Not renowned for quality principled entertainment or ideas.Short term sensationalism is the order of the day. Given the success of the Ladyboys show it appears that this maybe a desperate move to keep the gravy train rolling. For the girls I hope it's a fun experience but I doubt they'll see any cash - the music business is littered with casualties of shonky contracts. Agree with the comments about the tacky lyrics - demeans all involved. But if they can escape the grind of bar work for even a little while I'm sure they'd be satisfied.
