Expect the same for Songkran.  It is probably to keep the 'girls' from barfining themselves so they can go home for the holidays.  GG bars do the same.

Yes, sharkdog is spot on with that comment. Barfines are increased for holidays to keep the lbs in the bar. Of course this is not so good for us, but does ensure more lbs to choose from during the holidays, as opposed to a mostly empty bar.

Yes, their Holidays and ours (Western).  They often charge higher the days leading up to or day after as well. I refuse to patronize this. It should be noted that Chaos 9, Darkside, and Paradise Club do not raise their bar fines like the Nana Go Go's or Check In Bar.

That's good information ASJ - the other usual places, Cockatoo Bar in Soi Cowbay and the Patpong lb bars all have increased barfines during the holidays - following the NEP bar policy.

I guess the bars with the more popular gurls have try to persuade them to hang around some how . Certainly not ideal but if i only had limited time in Bkk i guess parting with a few extra baht would be better than not hooking up with a hottie that may have gone home to mum & dad otherwise . Still only peanuts compared to western prices

apart from the bar fine, what is the usual fee for ST and LT for temptation LB? Also, does the bar fine amount same for both ST and LT?
