So Mardhi,
Now seems both sides of the Sukhumvit are covered with side bars that pop up after 10, or has it moved to the "Odd Soi Number side" of the sukhumvit?
Used to have a few setting up right outside the Majestic hotel (Soi 4 side) almost all the way to Landmark.
Still there or gone?

For as long as I can remember - the odd number side of the street has always had more after hours 'life'. There are still couple carts by the majestic but they lose scale as nothing can be outside of the Landmark Hotel which takes up a fair bit of prime frontage.

The difference with this cart is the talent. Its as good as any real bar and much cheaper to boot. Downside is it opens after 10pm and is very open for those worried about such things. Having said that they also have a few GG's around, so you could always say, you did not realise it was all LB's if so concerned.

As I recall, the Odd Soi numbers are also on the side of the Sukhumvit where " Nigerians and others" meet kind of blocking the passage"s"
I always keep my hands in my pockets in the past. Past soi 5 all's OK.
Are they still around?

Some still around, but maybe the lB's have scared them off. Deffo not as many as before. However I have to say, those that are around are for the most part pretty cute. Couple of way big arse mumma's though. They had a Saudi Arabian ladyboy at the Cart this last weekend - that was a tasty bit of kit. Bet she can't do that at home.....

There was a crackdown on illegal Nigerians last year, as a number of them were involved in the drug trade in that area.

Interesting to hear the reports of a Saudi Arabian lb - don't think she would be up for p4p though,

Good to hear this sidewalk bar is doing well.

GREAT news RX.
Frankly, I was at the point where I avoided to cross Sukhumvit at Soi Nana to Soi 3, and preferred the overpass, that way I only risked being mugged and thrown onto the Freeway below.

Looks like this little alco cart is doing very well in the BKK scene. Looking at the Facebook pics coming out from the bar, can't help but notice the amount of occupied tables. Quite amazing as its so open, but no doubt the fact they have a couple of GG's in the mix also helps.

Presumably, the fact that beers are 100b each and barfine is 300b is also helping a lot as everyone feels the pinch from the economic downturn.

Another former Guess girl has now swiched to the Check In alco cart. Honey, one of the most popular girls and deffo in the top 5 within the former bar. Honey had previously switched to Obsession but is now working at Check In everyday.
