Looking forward to your report nix. From your photo I think i can see where I stayed when I was in Bangkok - the chatrium suites. It was an awesome hotel right on the river but a bit far from the action. have you no worries about getting back and forth to nep based where you are?

great start Surin Nix, have great memories of Lebau Hotel and Sirocco restaurant as well ... view is astonishing and food on rooftop great ... although not for cheap charlies.... enjoy your trip

Seriously. I've been in 2 7-11's, and the shelves are completely barren of my beloved Singha's. Paid $10 USD for a Singha here in the hotel. Fuck that. I can adapt to Chang (which seem to be plentiful).

Get yourself to a cheaper hotel, you flash git

Looking forward to seeing you and Batman fighting over the few remaining Singhas in Phuket. Leo seems to be the most populate beer around at the moment, although there is some Heineken and such knocking around in cans. I'm sure Jim will have a secret stash available at a (marmalade) price.
