Couple of updates and what is continue to be worked on in the bar. A range of Cider is being worked on as we speak - hope to have news on this in the next couple days.
Meanwhile - other things are moving on at a fair rate of knots.
First up the wall between the bar and the toilets has been started, and for all I know finished (not been in today). This is to make the right hand side of the bar much more private and it will be furnished with sofas, soft lighting, pictures on walls etc etc.
The music system has had two additional speakers added now that cable is available and fine tuning is still going on to balance everything.
Two of the ceiling extractors fan have been delivered and should go up tomorrow if the techie turns up to do as well as a lot more mood and podium lighting. In additional two high power fans are going in tomorrow for use on particularly hot or busy days.
A new POS system is being tested for drinks. When it rolls out will be dependant upon a number of things, such as does it work !!!!! but it will mean an end to multiple bits of paper - its one drink form updated each time a drink is ordered.
A new service team manager has been hired and she will hopefully start tomorrow and discussions are underway with a number of hostess staff. Most will not be known as they have not worked in Pattaya LB bars before.
More updates as I get them, however I really would caution guys on setting expectation levels - this is NOT Guess Bar and its not intended to be, hence it has a different name. It is a beer bar, (with extremely reasonable drink prices) to all intent and purpose albeit quite a large one. The team locally is working hard but don't lose sight of the fact they know very little about setting up a business. Some obvious things to us, will be overlooked (like napkins for the food on Kliome's birthday) but it is incredibly difficult to get reliable technicians to do anything coupled with logistic issues of even being able to obtain some things. An amazing amount of factories are under water and as an example, FORD is not producing vehicles at the moment - however there assembly line is not even remotely near flooded areas. However, a lot of their component suppliers are under water and thus the car cannot get finished.

Some updated pics from last night showing two of the new girls, Dokky and ?????. They were gyrating around those poles for hours last night and got plenty of tips & drinks in appreciation from the guys sat below. It was NOT a lethargic shuffle they were doing but virually a full on event from the olympics !!!!
