Is there a long running ladyboy bar started by a westerner that is still in their hands years later?
I'm guessing at some point the locals figure THEY can do it and your Thai partner ends up taking over.
The model in Cambodia seems to be start one, get it profitible and big, then sell and do it again.
I'd say if you have not tried Darkside yet, do, because it may be only a matter of time until it too goes thru the process and ends up sliding into the hands of the unimaginative.
would it change if one set up shop in a barge or the like? something you could OWN outright, no Thai "partner" ?
