its not about the bar fine its about street hookers getting paid, can u blame them, meet them outside the bar and let em know from the jump that ''i dont pay barfines period'', after she agrees , proceeds to get fucked and while standing at the door taking that last shot of her walking away of which will be on the forum the very next day for my sick enjoyment tell her also '' the taxi money is in the 375 bath i just gave u, toodles''.

I can't understand all this debate about the bar fine. To me for what amounts to about $10US i have a bit of an insurance policy.

True case in point on my last trip this past Feb I pull a real stunner from Nana, (the bar was Cascade but I forgot the name of the LB) we negoicate what will take place back at the room and a price. When we start our roll in the sack she tells me she dosent want me to fuck her only a blow job- this was not what we discused. I said forget it. She wanted to get paid something because we had initiated some activites. I said no way. We went back and forth a bit and the situation was deteriorating so I said lets go back to the bar and let the mamasan sort it out. We did and I paid the her nothing and picked a new LB. Had I met her after hours or picked up a freelancer I would have had to sort it out on my own and it could very easly gotten ugly. IMHO a barfine is a bargin- especially for a nubie. Again just IMHO. I have also pick up loads of freelancers and LBs after hours with no problem at all and had some problems as well its just that the bar fine for me is not that big of a deal.

its about principles daaaaaaamit!! no just kidding. at the end of the day its ten bucks, i just makes me feel like a renter, my price is speical my heart even more, i know some of u guys dont live quite by maxims of lao tze but rather the creed ''if it flies floats or fucks its cheaper to rent'' and to that say many a wise sex tourist who like the monks when tired of lao zte's bored abstemionious preaching hopped the temple wall stole 375 baht from the donations, and had a truly beautiful yoga shag fuck fest kundalini style.....but nowhere in the donations made by old hopeful women and stolen by renunciates was extra money for a bar fine. ten bucks is what it is, at times u just gotta enjoy a barfine though.

I agree and disagree.

If you meet a girl outside of working hours in a disco or in the street etc and you spontaneaously take her home I don't think paying the bar fine is appropriate, even if you have seen her working in a bar earlier that evening. I don't think the bar/bar owner can argue with this unless it was planned.

The exception is when guys tell a ladyboy to wait for her or meet her after work, and then meet her outside working hours and avoid the bar fine. IMO in this instance the bar fine should still be paid as she may have refused bar fines earlier in the night to keep her date with you, thus costing the bar money.

The grey area is when a ladyboy insists on going with you you tell her maybe (or even no) and the ladyboy calls you or finds you as soon as she finishes work. I've had this happen several times and as long as I haven't made a promise to her that I'll take her I usually don't feel the need to pay the bar fine. In most of these cases she wouldn't have turned down any bar fines or be calling you if someone had barfined her during working hours.

Recenltly I took a girl from a bar for 3 nights, paid the barfine and paid her the going rate, but then for a further 3 nights she called me after work asking to see me, and on 2 of those occassions I said OK. On both occassions I really wasn't looking for 'fun' and we just ended up watching TV and sleeping, I didn't pay the bar fine and paid her less too. Some bars/owners might disagree, but I didn't feel the bar fine was necessary in this scenario.

If the girl has finished her shift then I don't see what the problem is as she is on her own free time. If girls don't come into work, its standard they get cut the barfine amount - a lot of guys assume that is not the case but it is standard practice for a salaried bar. No show = cut of barfine. Having said all that, the girls who are smart realise in a fair bar its always a bit of give & take.

I was reading the FAQ on this website, http://www.bangkokba...s.info/faqs.asp, and saw this:

"It is possible to avoid the barfine by making appointments with girls after their working hours etc. However, be advised that this is against the rules, even if you take a girl at closing time with you, you still are supposed to pay the barfine! If the barowner/manager finds out about this the girl will be in some kind of trouble."

I figure it this way: If a real estate salesman shows you the house and later you use some other agent to buy that house, well the first agent should still get a cut of the commision. You meet a LB in a bar then you owe a barfine, if you happened to meet her walking down to the street food vender then perhaps you don't owe the barfine. The bar has her employed to make money, if she wasn't at the bar when you were then you wouldn't have met her. You owe the bar fine, unless she doesn't work at that bar anymore or it has been quite some time since you were at the bar, or you met her outside of the bar hours quite by accident.
