Yes, your grumpiness, cheerful unmaligned humor.
Seriously though, we know money is a pronounced motivator in Thailand, but Nookie & Nuoy's gesture was just about a private piss-take of Wally given with good humour and seemingly received as such. I wouldn't completey write off the capacity of Thai's to give with no return. I can cite many examples of selflessness from Nookie for example.
