When we arrive Dav26 is already there, and he confirms he is on for coming to Hua Hin with us in the morning, but he has to sort out some business first, namely a certain lady who work sin Famous. So he departs for Famous and we plan to meet him there later in the evening. NW is flirting a bit with Nok, but as I am showing Lin around, I have to be on my best behaviour, a role I find difficult when there is LB ass begging to be pinched. We say our goodbyes to Nok, Sindy and the others, not sure when we will be back again.
Comfortably Numb: The total contentment trip.

Lin leaves about 1 am as she has work in the morning. I know the sensible thing to do is head home early myself, as we have the taxi to HH in the morning, but as it's the last night in Patts, logic does not get much of a look in. We finally call it a night at about 2.30, but as we are leaving Famous, I notice a slightly familiar face sitting out front. It's Karl with his new look, easy to miss actually if you just glanced casually. So more drinks are ordered, and I reckon it was 4 am by the time we eventually got moving. Goodbyes to all in Famous, see you when I see you.

That mullet ROCKS! Wheres he from? Checkoslovakia?
I understand now why mullets are the official hairstyle of ladyboy bar owners:
Business in front!
Party in the back!
In fact, on my most recent trip to C&D's, I could not help but admire Jimbo's new look. He was nice enough to share with me the attached passport photo!

Luckily for me I am traveling light so packing does not take long. Also I usually get as much clothes as possible washed the day before I move on, therefore they are nicely folded and fresh already, just slip them in my bag. We have arranged for the taxi to pick us up at 11 am, first Ninewives at the Pattaya Bay Resort and then over to my place on Soi Buakhao. I have a quick check of the internet, to get a phone number for the Celtic GH in Hua Hin, which has been recommended to my by my brother.
I give NW a call to check is everything ok, and all is sorted with him. I have about an hour to wait, so I finish off the last of ice tea and chill on the balcony. This gives me time to reflect on the trip so far, and it has been all I expected and more, a wonderful time. My only slight regret is not getting to meet "cutie" but hey, there is always next time. My plan is to spend a week in Hua Hin, then a couple of days in Bangkok to catch up with some friends and fly out on the morning of the 10 at 1.30 am, which is really the night of the 9th. So as far as I am concerned this is my last hour in Pattaya until god knows when, but hey I am heading to Hua Hin for a week, my home from home in Los, life is good.

I call ahead to the Celtic GH and book 3 rooms, what a relief to know we have rooms waiting for us at the other end of this journey. The journey should take about 3 hours or so, but as it is a holiday, and the traffic is bad in reality it takes 5 hours. We stop for refreshments but to be on the safe side, we ensure at least one of us keeps an eye on the taxi just in case he makes off with all our gear. You can never be too careful. We eventually arrive at the GH about 4 pm, and the owner tells us we were lucky we phoned ahead, if not they would be full by now because of the holiday. As NW and I are planning to stay for a week, they give us the rooms for 600 Baht a night, good value for what we are getting. My room has a narrow balcony with a view on the port, and is next door to NW.

Kliome suggested Hua Hin to me last year and I bypassed it completely wanting to spend more time on Phuket. I may go to Hua Hin on my next visit, so as always, appreciate the great reporting BB.
Just out of curiosity, what was it that needed blurring on the belly of your traveling partner in that one particular photo?
Also, you included a photo of Canterbury Tales in a previous posting. Did you stay there? I am told the owner, though married, is ladyboy friendly. So wondering if you have info on price and thoughts on the hotel.
Dang, 3000 baht for a 5 hour journey is a bargain. I cannot imagine what the taxi-fare for such a ride would be here in the U.S.
Thanks buddy,
Nix

Thanks Nix. Just wanted to cover the shirt, because it is quite distinguishable and wanted to keep his id hidden, totally precautionary. Regarding CT, that was the view from Soy Chow, no other reason for the photo. It does good food, here is a website for the place http://www.canterburytalescafe.com/ never stayed there myself.I'm looking forward to this part.

HH is a handy option as a balance to Pattaya, and on a good day a taxi will do it in just over 3 hours, as you said not bad for under 3000 baht. Besides the bar area there is quite a town, and a big mall, so something to do, along with a 5 km sandy beach. It's quite popular with the golf set, if that is your cup of tea.

My only question is this...
You went to Pattaya basically to drink and hang out with your buddies? You barfined I think one maybe two girls the entire trip and I believe slept alone 4 or 5 nights and no daytime shorttime sessions. Are you still kind of shy about barfining ladyboys or just not into it?
