It's the Don't Wake Me Up Party in Famous Bar tonight ~ 15th September - Starts 7pm 

 

Not much notice I'm afraid, but anyone who is in town should come along... I'll be there!

Great party last night and all the girls were all on top-friendly form. It's great to see the lovely Helen back again too.

 

A photo session on the steps of Famous was underway when I arrived, so I waited patiently before running the gauntlet of gorgeous goodies.

We sometimes hear people say they find it difficult to locate Famous Bar, so here is a reminder...

 

Personally I always come to Famous Bar from the Buakhao/Tukcom direction and as many people already know where Sensations is and/or often stay up or around the Soi Buakhao area, then this is the route to Famous from that end. Also, for those preferring not to go via Sunee Plaza then this is the way to go.

 

You can walk from Sensations to Famous Bar in under 10 minutes, using a baht bus it takes 3 minutes.

 

On Google Maps:

The Place to jump off the Baht Bus is HERE

Famous Bar is HERE

 

The Blue Line is the Baht Bus (songtaew) route down to the southern end of Buakhao

- (99% of the Baht Buses turn right off Buakhao towards Tukcom).

The Orange Line is where you need to walk.

- (Through the market street called Hollywood Plaza, but it's written in Thai).

It depends which end of the orange line you're looking at, but yes, one end is on Pattaya Tai, soi 13, as opposed to any of the other soi 13's which people are more used to hearing about, which are nowhere near this location.

 

There's nothing like extra clarity to confuse people... and that was nothing like it!

Pattaya Tai Soi 13 was formally known as Soi Hollywood as the Hollywood Disco was located there until it burned down the third time and moved.
