And thanks to Batman for discussing the prospect of a mrs jimbo -not! There won't be one any time soon. I'm enjoying having Bee at The Skylab, but it's a bit restrictive at times. But thanks for your goodwill AB, and others.

Tuesday Night

A monster thunderstorm at the crucial 9.30 timespot probably kept the american contingent in their hotels. However, when the storm passed at about 11.15, the bar began to fill up, and we had a good time:

Due for a few weeks R & R at the beginning of April but can't get in contact with Tom on phone or web.

Are you aware of any changes and if so can you recommend a similar alternative

toms place unfortunally dont excist anymore... there are a lot similar to his place just across where toms place was..
will be there myself from march 19 for almost 4 weeks, so will be happy to check out some places for you..

What's the story there? Tom's Place used to be THE place to stay....and now it's history? I hope there isn't a bad story behind this....is Tom still around?

just think he might wanted to try something else,but as for the moment his not in Phuket
will miss the place...a lot of fond memories from that place..

The place is still there, all locked up and empty. Such a shame. Just hope Tom is ok, and back safely in the US.Haven't heard a word.

Weds Night

Another torrential thunderstorm at the start of the evening, meant i was late in, after sliding down the hill from The Skylab on my arse! The git in front of me went down and i instinctively grabbed the brake, which sent me into a slide. No damage thankfully, other than to my pride.
