Postscript:

Kendo played extremely fair on the bar, paying Jen's barfine to her to pass on to us, after his final couple of nights, even though he took her after the bar closed and they had all been down to Sanuk Bar.

Sadly, Jen decided the money would be better in her own pocket. She has therefore been dismissed.

It's like : I pick up a LB from Cascade in BKK in an local etablishment after her bar closed. And I have to pay the barfine to her and she must give it to Cascade bar the next day.

Jen left your bar after closing time, at that time she's not longer working for you. Or did I miss something?

The middle-person he TRUSTED to forward the money to the bar CHOSE to keep it. If she was gonna steal on this occasion what's to say she wouldn't steal from a punter ( ie YOU!) next time.

Some people's attitude is 'well its only 400 baht' but its the thin end of the wedge. This is not about paying or not paying bar fines after a bar has closed- its about theft pure and simple.

Exactly right Ivor! LBAddict, Kendo did not have to pay the barfine but he did as Ivor points out When Jen kept the barfine that became the theft! I think that is the part you missed or misunderstood! And no we are not retards here. You would be suprised what some of our boardmembers do for a living so I will just let the statement pass as a youthful transgression!

Batman, this was in the Thailand Gazette! I think you may be drinking Chang beer as it appears Singha is going to be missing for a while!

"The manager of the Corporate Information Center for Boon Rawd Brewery Co, the parent company for Singha Corp, told the Gazette, “We have five factories in Central Thailand, and four of them are flooded. “

“One of those flooded factories is dedicated to producing Singha. That’s the main reason most stores in Thailand are short of Singha beer for sale.

“We actually have factories all over Thailand. Our factory in Chiang Mai produces bottled water. The one in Surat Thani produces bottled water and soda water, and our plant in Khon Kaen produces bottled water and Leo beer,” she added.

“Even though we are running out of Singha beer, we still have Leo beer for sale as our Khon Kaen facility remains unaffected by the floods.

“However, we are unable to produce any more Singha beer until the situation is back to normal,” she said."
