It never happens in Bangkok - I have only ever seen it in Pattaya or Phuket. And for sure never up country for a birthday. (wedding yes but never a birthday).

Jim! Keep up the good work. Its a pleasure to follow C&D & whats going on in the "real sin-city" as I call it. Personally I only do BKK & Phuket for mongering(Pattaya..nahh) & this is the only thread Im addicted to,part from Walts tripreport .
