Braved the rain last night at about 2230 was the customer,not even Jim was there. Had a beer and Jim came in and slowly the place woke up, several bell rings later it was time to brave the rains and go home. Saw some pics on Facebook this morning and soi paradise has about 6 incessant of water. Rained real hard all night, glad I live on south end of Nanai. Hope rains stop soon I need beer!

A young British tourist was electrocuted as a pool of water became live today in contact with a power line as heavy overnight rain turned Patong and much of Phuket into a '' knee-deep flood zone.'' The British man, aged 20, died after being taken to Patong Hospital. He was electrocuted near the Ocean department store about 6am, police said. Rain just stopped, but the news said a river of brown water was flowing down Soi Sansabai, bet tonight will be a big mess on Bangla, just hope rain slows but looks like rain constant til Sunday. Will be there friday for mings event.

Last Night


After almost 3 weeks with barely a drop of rain, Mother Nature took revenge yesterday. It rained incessantly unti about 10.30pm, after which i ventured cautiously down the hill, and into Patong. Only hartmut was in the bar, although things picked up after that.
