The best night of the month!
Just when everything seems doom and gloom, along comes a ray of sunshine! My sincere thanks to the three free-spending gentlemen who came to our rescue last night - you know who you are!
With 87 ladydrinks on the books, the atmosphere in the bar was at it's best, if slightly drunk. You could almost taste the relief in the air.
Lots of aussie mayhem in the streets outside, but a lovely friendly smiley party inside. Even our subcontinental friends were almost tempted! Great stuff.

hartmut: "good" news about your house. Hurry back - a certain lady says her balls are going to explode soon! I think you're in for a helluva welcome!

I feel it might be time for another video montage soon, haven't done one since April and plenty of great new pics since then!

Glad to hear about the ray of sunshine, here in the states things are not very good, at least I sold my house, (lost 100k) clean. I will try to help the bottom line on Monday. Jim keep the old stiff upper lip or whatever.
See You
Hartmut, great news on selling your house! I am sorry that you lost 100k but at least you got it sold! I don't know if you watch Zillow, but you are not the only one in the boat brother! One of the Zillow executives predicts the downward slide to continue for the next three years! So far I have lost nearly 200k on the value in my property! Yeah things are tight here but now if you find a little place to live with a smaller monthly payment; the quicker you can save enough for several trips to the LOS! Just a little silver lining!

Hartmut, congrats on the sale of your house though it must hurt to take a loss. Anyway, you are getting what you want. Best of luck and sorry I won't see you this LOS trip.
