Sorry Viking, but as there's only about 6 active members on here now, and one of those complained of "over-exposure", I've rather relaxed my grip on things here.
Hope these help your "cold turkey" blues:

First this : I'm the poster formerly known as whoreboylover. Now I think that name is very offensive
and an example of bad taste. That name will always be associated with negativity, that's why I wanted
to change my username.
On a previous trip to Phuket I had a futile (now I see it like that)
making snide remarks about her on this forum. I underestimated the pain I caused her with this.
I totally lacked empathy. She didn't deserve such a treatement.
I make sincere excuses for my behaviour.
Lately I was back in Phuket. When I saw Nuoy in the bar she ignored me and presented me a look that
could kill. Finally I approached her to talk. She raved like a fury. LBs and customers were looking at us,
it was awkward. After a long talk and some hard words she agreed to go with me again.
I paid her very generously for trying to make up with her and for my piece of mind. Yes I felt guilty.
I learnt the hard way.
Needless to say that the first moments in the room did not pass off smoothly. It improved when she
saw my good intentions.
When we went out to eat, I was holding her hand, men were always looking full of envy at me.
With her it was the walk of pride. She's pretty, funny and has an outgoing personality.
Jimbo I was quite reserved to introduce myself to you due to my reputation on this forum.
You know who I am ...
The cabaret was as always top notch. I adore the dancers. I must say they are blessed with great talent
and that's a big understatement.
This trip was an eye opener for me. I need to change ...
I offer again my apologies to Nuoy for my bad comments.
I probably sound like a softie
and this is an embarrasing post. Well I don't care.
I do this for her because I like her a lot.
Sorry for my accent, I'm not a native speaker.
Now you can put me in the pillory or ignore me as before ...

secondly: i'm glad you're reconciled with Nuoy, although i'm glad i didn't see her rant, as i would have had to take some pretty stern action against her.
thirdly: just a friendly piece of advice - don't lose your heart to a bargirl again. Remember what they do for a living. Just enjoy the moment, part as friends, and pick up the reins again on your next trip, if you like. Or agree to stay friends, and move on to another. Don't get trapped into the relationship thing - i wouldn't like to see you go back to being a "whoreboylover".
My sincere best wishes
Jimbo

Words are very powerful and when they are reduced to writing and sent out on this media, you can never get them back. They are read and reread and the other person never has an opportunity to remove the statements. You have published for all to see your apology to Nuoy and I wish you well in the future! All the best!

What's happened? where did everyone go? Even Jimbo seems to have lost his enthusiam here.....and if we lose him here, what hope is there?
Jimbo....keep up the good work! Hopefully this silence just means everyone is lurking, and not vanished....

It is possible to be a bar-girl and expect some dignity, and you helped to restore this.
Best wishes to you and your future visits to C&D.
