zvezda, when do you plan to be in Bangkok or Pattaya?

NEVER pay in advance, anywhere.

Ladyboys are in most cases lower "priced" than real girls, not higher priced.

Drinks.
Sure, the least you can do is buy the girl you are talking to a drink. That is how she is paid for her time, but buying her "friends" drinks is just a waste of your money.
I've spent, wasted, a lot of money over the years buying drinks for "friends" and don't do it anymore. Most of the time they are only interested in the commission, take a sip or two from the drink, and move on to the next customer. In many of the more dishonestly managed bars the waitresses are trained to picked up the lady drink glasses, finished or not, as soon as they think they can get away with it, so you, the walking ATM, has to buy more drinks if you want the girl or girls to stay with you. The love of your life wants you to buy her friends drinks so they make the commision on the drink. Ask the girl if she wants another drink or if she wants a tip. Bet she will take your tip instead of the drink.

There are exceptions, but it would seem most ladyboys prefer short time vs long time. There are some who want or will stay long time, but not many.

Lock everything up. Everything. Your watch, mobile phone, camera, everything. What you can't put in the safe, lock away in your luggage. Don't let her see you put anything of value in your luggage or she might slip out during the night with your suitcase. Best, as others have said, to lock up everything before you go out for the evening.
I prefer a safe in the room and while the girl is in the shower I put everything in my pockets in the safe, including her fee. The next morning while she is in the bathroom I take out enough to cover her fee and a tip if she earned it. The fee I put under or near her purse and hand her the tip as she is leaving. Use whatever technique you think best.

Good Hunting.

WOW 3000 Bht! One could take a sweet russian girl(if your into that) from CM2 for an allnighter! Please spend your money wisely, it effects all of us. I will be in BKK in January and hope to spend 1200 to 1500 Bht for a nice time with a hot ladyboy!!

I handcuff her to the bed whilst I'm having a shower, this technique has so far proven successful !

Don't you think you might be taking this a little bit too far ?

If I was that paranoid about being robbed, I wouldn't bother taking anyone back to my hotel.

Cheers

Zvezda,
The weather starts getting hot again by the end of February. By late March it is as hot as Hell and by April it is hotter than Hell. In mid April there is the celebration of the Ancient Thai New Year, sorry, I've forgotten the name, and over the years it has become a water fight. I would avoid the country during that 3-7 day period. April, may, and June are the hottest months of the year. But, almost anytime is a good time. You get use to the heat.

Koykaeng,
If everything is locked up there is nothing to steal. Right?
One less potential problem. The best vacation is one where you don't have any unpleasant, unexpected "adventures."

Hi JackG,

Songkrahn is the Thai traditional New Year, sometimes referred to as the Water Festival, lots of fun if you don't mind getting wet !

Koykaeng,

I am all for personal safety and taking precautions, but I don't like it when ladyboy's in general terms are portrayed as common thieves.

I have many LB friends who I'd trust with my life, but don't deny there are always a few bad apples out there.

Cheers

Nobody did this ...

[But I read on this forum that 70% (would like to get the source of information ... the study ...) of them were taking drugs ... More than general terms, this figure is a very precise statistic ...]

It's just that the prostitution and the pimp businesses are not so angel's business
