Thought we need a thread to vent about the greatest event of the greatest sport.

Watching the greeks now being run over by a great South Korea.

In a few mins Arg-Nig starts :clapclap:

Gotta love Maradona and his hubris. But as the best player ever i guess he´s earned it.

For me this world cup is being spoiled by those silly horns.

The games so far have had no real atmosphere, no singing, no chanting, just a constant drone of horns from start to finish.

It's great to finally see the world cup in Africa, but I just hope people soon get bored of blowing the silly vuvzelas. Sadly I can't see it happening, they should be banned but instead the stadiums are giving them out for free..

I'm tempted to mute the TV and put on some Michael Bolton, anything would be better than the constant Bee like drone..

Saldy there's little chance of them being banned, we are stuck with them.

I just saw a nice quote on BBC World Cup forum.. 'Why can't the African's enjoy football like normal folk, with racists chants and wayward flare guns'..

I'm guessing James for England, but Ledly King won't let the USA get a shot on goal, so it's irrelevant..

Hopefully Lennon will start on the right wing and do the business.

Poor Rio Ferdinand.

Also, poor Robben, poor Ballack, poor Drogba, poor Walcott.

I can hear the conversation by the coach now - " Hello Rent-a-Keeper? I need a goal keeper for our first World Cup Match."
