It would be interesting to know the prices of the LBs in this bar. The GG bars on P. Burgos are very expensive. Well at least compared to AC and Pattaya.

I was told the bar fine is 3500 php for Shampoo/Bird Cage + 350 for a lady drink.. Please someone tell me this isn't true..

If this is correct it's expensive. Is this standard for P Burgos ?

Yup, it is indeed the new location of Shampoo and has moved just about 100 yards up the road. Not sure why they moved but IMHO the new venue is not as good as the old one. Previous place was a bit smaller and cosy. The Bird Cage club has a brightly lit space with seating around the sides and it lacks much atmosphere. There are though a couple of smaller alcoves which offer a bit of privacy. Maybe the move may also have seen some of the talent dip a bit as the quality of girls was definitely a bit down when I have visited on the last few occassions. Mind you, it was a Monday night both times I went and the girls said that there were more of them there later in the week. Still had fun there though


Bar fines remain Php3500 and lady drinks about Php300 - Php350 which is par for the Burgos St area. I guess you can negotiate the bar fine down if you spend mucho money on lady drinks...Hope the move works out and the place is successful - it's the only one here!

Barfines and drinks are expensive in the bar. Shampoo only opened at 9PM so there was no happy hour for drinks or barfines as in some of the other GG bars. Still open at 9PM?

Hi Wanderingsam; yes it is now Birdie Cage and is on the same St. Barfines and drinks are expensive (as they are all along Burgos St). There was no happy hour before at previous location.

I'm no Cheap Charlie but those prices seem a trifle on the steep side.....

This may deter your average monger who may look no further than LoS, Vietnam & Cambodia.......

Keep up the good work boys.....this good info will help me plan my trip there later this year.......

I think you'll find these are Manila prices, Petesie.

Having been reading up on the Philippines ove rthe last few weeks, it looks as though places like Angeles City, Boracay, Cebu and virtually anywhere outside manila, are much much cheaper.

Most people are telling me, places like Angeles are cheaper
all round than Pattaya- only with fewer LBs on tap.
