I will be marrying my LB next month even that will take 2 days then have to go to the Amphur office will cost around £2000 all in. Lets hope it is worth it and she like like UK . Tried a GG but that only lasted 2 years she is now back on walking street :redcard: guess you have to be brave to try :clapclap:

You do understand the a legally recognized marriage between a ladyboy and a male is not possible in LOS. Thailand does not recognize same sex marriage, so before you spend your 2000 pounds be sure you are not being scammed!

Official Thai ladyboy IDs all indicate sex as "Male".

Live in Europe and I am contemplating inviting my chosen ladyboy over for a holiday.
Anybody got any up to date experience of such things?I know you have got to pay some kind of guarantee etc.
I guess you got the concerns that if it don't work out that she can screw you over.Entering the p4p scene in your country,and the worst scenario is you get copped for living off immoral earnings.

Any thoughts?

This is true, it mainly depends on your country (which I don't see listed in your profile). I sat through a presentation by the guy that runs Key Visa on Soi LK Metro at a Pattaya Expats Club meeting. He was discussing GGs and had reasonable success at getting visas to the UK but you had to do a lot of work to make it happen. Some European countries are easier. The US is almost hopeless. You should be able to Email Key Visa or one of the may other visa companies and get some real answers.

I have no affiliation with Key. But since Darren at Key is sometimes invited to speak at the expat club meetings I assume he has some credibility. I used him once to get my tourist visa extended 30 days as I was too lazy to do it myself.

You also might find something useful at the ThaiVisa forum.

Why invite endless problems.

Think about what you could get in LOS for the price of her plane ticket.

I presume you're not in the UK? As stated UK visa's are not easy to get though possible - I'll probably be doing it next year btw.

If not UK look at a Shenzen 3 month visa - easy to get for stipulated countries.

I'd make sure you know someone pretty well before doing it though.

In our country it is practically impossible to get anyone who's not permanently employed in a reputable company who can issue a Letter of Recommendation :lol: + possible Bank Account Statement +... all kind of nasty stuff :loco: . Other possibility is tourist visa but still, almost as hard to get so don’t bother. Only alternative is to appoint lady as a director of company :angel: and get her inside with working permit for managing staff visa... Welcome to EU.

http://www.schengenvisa.cc/

Available for:

* Austria
* Germany
* Belgium
* Denmark
* Finland
* France
* Greece
* Iceland
* Italy
* Luxemburg
* Norway
* Portugal
* Spain
* Sweden
* The Netherlands

The purpose of the visit must be leisure, tourism, or business. Upon the issuance of the visa, the visa holder is allowed to enter all member countries and travel freely throughout the Schengen area. It is strongly recommended to plan your journey within the timeframe of the Schengen Visa as extensions can be very difficult to obtain, thus forcing you to leave to stay in compliance with the Schengen rules and regulations. A Schengen visa allows the holder to travel freely within the Schengen countries for a maximum stay of up to 90 days in a 6 month period.

Hi Starfish seeker.

First, a visa for an LB will be almost impossible to get for the Schengen space. Maybe if you make a declaration that you will cover any expenses with the LBs travel, medical insurance, etc.

However, if you succeed to get a visa for your sweetheart, be prepared for BIG problems. You never know what there are into. I would advise to spend some longer time with your LB in Thailand first, to see how the relationship works.

Anyway, I think you are looking for BIG financial and emotional problems.

In a few months when our new Family Code will be inacted... LB could legally be your partner if she lives on your address for unspecified time, sometimes only few months is enough, and... when she returns to Thailand she can technically file for Divorce/Property Division & claim half of everything and… would be funny but it’s not… this can actually happen. :loco:

I don’t know about other legal systems but who knows…
