It would be a bit like going up to the Fickle Finger of Fate and saying "Fuck You!!! Do your worst!!!"

A very very bad idea.

Well done Petesie , letting those fish go like you did ...,

I also use Catch and release method , whether it is voluntary or required, it must be done properly if it is to succeed in having the fish survive.

I absolutely could not imagine taking an 8 year old to Pattaya, whether I was mongering or not. I am always kind of freaked out when I see families walking around in that place - I mean WTF! :redcard: There are about a million better places to go with a kid.

Glad to see you've come to your senses.

Contemplating visiting the land of the smiles next year and possibly Vietnam with my 8 year old son.He is well travelled so I don't have any issues with that, and I know Thailand is a fast growing family holiday destination.
I am thinking of dropping down to Pattaya and visiting the lady boy gf during the visit. We discussed it during my recent visit and she is ok with it.We are always out and about at the beach, cinema, bowling places anyhow. And the bar scene is not a big draw.So from that angle I don't have any concerns. She is fun and likes kids etc.Would probably up grade to a suite at the usual South Patts hotel.
Any thoughts guys?Anybody done something similar?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what the question is?

Is Pattaya a more family orientated venue - there is a drive for that yes - however there remains a substantial seedie side in the evenings.

Is it socially acceptable to introduce your son to your LB gf - my opinion is that it depends on the situation. It would be a similar answer if you asked about a gay or GG. I presume she is in the P4P scene and IMHO perhaps not desireable regardless of orientation. I dont assume to preach or lecture others on such a topic as i do not have children myself. I think i would only personallly introduce any partner of whom i wished to have permanent long term sustained relationship and off whom I 101% trusted.
I spent a lot of money on LB's in Nana Plaza, Patpong and Pattaya. The rest of the cash, I just squandered

I'm sure there are guys on here who have done something similar Starfish seeker and far be it for me to speak as a paragon of virtue but I find the very idea of doing what you are contemplating as somewhat bizare :loco:

Not really a strange concept at all.............after all..........you're hardly going to be dragging him round the bars..............

There's so much for the youngster to see and do and of course you will enjoy this aspect of Patts as well...............

I took my 19 year old there in May..........he had a ball.............I put him through his Open Water Diving courses which he really enjoyed.........8 days of it.......so I got my night time activities and entertainment then.............

I introduced him to the LB bars which he took in his stride and oddly enough he is still speaking to me!

He did laugh when Kate insisted he call her Mama Kate........oo-er...! :harhar:
