Wow, I just finished this thread and had flashbacks of some other highly opinionated posters!!

For a minute, it sounded like our "dutch missionary LB savior" or our "happily married for 18 yrs to a LB" expert had returned in disguise!

A lively debate is always appreciated.

Carry on gents.

Hi Ray....where you been....!

While I was reading this thread I extracted a really long hair from up my nose. It felt like it was attached right up deep at the back and it made my eyes water afterwards, I almost sneezed after I tugged it out.

I studied it for a while and wondered how long it took to grow so long and how long it would've grown if I'd left it... But I'll never know now.

Sorry, I got side-tracked... Where were we? :)

In a thread where EVERYONE goes on and on and on about how much respect they show the gals and blah blah blah. Respecting their gender I would think is pretty basic.

It's not about PC - it's about respect. You call the LBs "lads", you'd call my girl a "lad" ad that would not be correct.

I didnt read the thread as everyone going on about respect, I think some people would like to jump on a soapbox and babble on about how much better they are than everyone else and compare apples to orange to justify there statements. (Of course then they are so MUCH MORE respectful than the rest of us!) this is simply a forum discussing LB's and most often in the P4P arena which isnt PC, why would I single out gender to respect! I'm gender neutral I'm happy to respect anyone regardless of their gender or sexual preferances.

I didnt actually call anyone a lad, I did say that they were small boys in skirts which unless I'm missing something is exactly what they are, (Of course it seems many people dont have a sense of humor and cannot see a joke or tongue in cheek expression without dropping off the deep end which to me IS political correctness at its worst.)

Are you sure that the whole issue isnt more around the fact that you feel more comfortable saying you are dating a lady rather than something else?

I'm finally quite comfortable saying I'm dating a lady who is transgendered. I leave the telling to her when she is comfortable, but I'm there to back her up and if needed defend her.

The joke you reference about the "boys in skirts" may be situationally troubling since I assume you are living in a place where violence against trans women isn't as common (or reported less?). Here in the US, that joke provides the reasoning behind lots of violence and even murder. In the rare cases where the person goes to trial, they get off with really light sentences. Simply because a jury is willing to believe that having sex with a TG is reason enough to beat and/or kill her.

It's personal for me, so I'm probably coming off harsher than I want. Thing is, my girl told me about a past ex who dated her a couple times, and when they finished having sex the first time he beat the shit out of her. The cops were called, he was found, they came back to her place with a warning that she shouldn't go around tricking men into sex with her. (That's the short n dirty version)

[quote="
keep listening to your girl mate, especially if she is p4p.
wouldnt happen to be half your age and beautiful, would she.?
and you being so handsome, she loves only you.........[/quote]

I listen to her because she's smart as hell.
She's not in p4p - but I'll keep listening
She's 2 years older at 28,
stunning (but I'm probably prejudiced)
the other two I can't answer, but hope for the best

Calm down lads.......we all love the ins and outs and of course the ups and downs of being acquainted with the Third sex........or whatever label you choose to put on it..........

We all have different points of perspective from where we cast our vote and I for one respect these views as being a matter of personal opinion...........at that moment in time by that particular person and in their particular relationship.........wow!

I love this forum and the very nature of its spirit........honesty and integrity and of course the piss taking.......long may it continue......and never get personal........God Bless Boys...!

hankhavelock, If I had the time or inclination I would quote parts of your diatribe and point out the weaknesses but I can't be bothered so I'll keep it simple:

You’re so far up your own ass I bet you can see what you had for breakfast

Well, the point is, you DIDN'T have the maturity to take me on, baby... and you bet... I spot lunch and dinner and even dessert when I have my head up my ass :-) Did you ever have your head up ANYWHERE, sweetheart?

I have a point, and then react to that point, please. Don't just be evasive coming with "what-you'd-have-liked-to-have-said-if-you'd-had-the-guts"

If you wanna defend your right (or other's right) to call transsexual women "blokes", if you want to explain the "truth" about it all, then take me on, honey. I ain't stopping you!

But you can have-your-head-up-your-little-virgin-western-ass-for SURE that I will disagree with you. And I will come after you verbally and challenge all your imperialistic views on Asian transsexuality that I sense you'll present.

So what's stopping you? Take me on here! Maybe I have TOTALLY misunderstood the fact that you are a nice and so lovely guy with TONS of respect for your little tranny friends... me dink not...

But apparently, I touched a nerve. Scary, and also a bit sad.

The empathy of transsexuality here is so below what could be expected... or is it?

I do like your post, but I'm sorry I have to disagree to your otherwise optimistic point that we all love it. This is not a matter of different perspectives. This is a matter of different levels of knowledge and understanding.

Transsexuality is NOT understood here at this otherwise good forum.

My battle is against comfortable ignorance. My point is that transsexuality is not just a walk in the park and being a little hotty who dresses up for some guy who happens to want to pay her for sex.

It is not so at all... and I hope that I can make at least a minority here realize that the trans*girls they so happily screw are actually women who generally have a hard time even though they are a gay bunch when you order them at what ever bars you go to.

This is a highly biased world. I have NOTHING against you guys going out to find a trans*girl to pay for sex with. But I get UPSET when you ridicule them and when you basicly don't give a shit about them.

I give a shit about them. Many of them are my friends.

If you cannot understand the mechanics of transsexuality, then so be it - but at least be decent about it. Stop calling trans*ladies "blokes", stop feeling ashamed when you walk with her hand in hand.

I always feel PROUD when I walk with her and kiss her in public. We feel our bond growing when ppl laugh at us...

Being blessed with a transsexual girlfriend is challenging - and it's also enriching. So show respect, please.

Blast, this truly is the wrong forum to try to explain things like this...

Sorry

definately on the hormones.

listen hank.
a lot of us have had , or are having ts relationships now, or in the past.
stop acting like some messiah, sent to educate us.
i could understand if you joined a "straight " forum and spent your valuable time educating the people with closed minds.
but we all love ts,s for fucks sake.
we are on a forum connected to a porn site, for a laugh, meet drinking buddies and enjoy our holidays.
not to meet mrs right.
theres another forum for that.
oh,
hold on, wait a minute......
i think maybe you already know it.

It's very personal to both of us, my friend. And the truth is that we're both amazingly lucky when it comes to the fact that we have been so wonderfully received in the trans*world. You in the West and I in the East.

But a majority here chooses not to have a clue as to what we're talking about.

This is not the kind of forum where neither you nor I will ever make a dent of a diference, my man :-) But at least we've tried...

Let's go back to where we belong... let's leave the punters calling transsexual women "blokes" and feeling badly about the socalled "walk of shame". That is their problem as well as the victims they take in their paid-for strive of their secret attraction.

We'll keep our respect, and we will be the ones who continuously earn the respect of the women we so adore.

As simple as that.
