Our lovely Ministry for Foreign Affairs already issued statement (on Easter Sunday ) that all nonessential travels to Bangkok are not advised so I guess my insurance it now worthless since it clearly states it's invalid in case of civil unrests but do I care... no way, you only live once.

Perhaps I'm a bit nieve or maybe even foolhardy, but I never buy travel insurance.

Also, good advice above about paying attention to insurance clauses and the small print.
