Oh, i nearly forgot to mention the Free Flight Promotion:

11 claimants, costing me 20,000 Baht in reinbursements. Some kind guys found flights on Air Asia at 830Bt, some got flights at Bkk for circa 1700Bt, and the most expensive were 2750 (yes, for one way, FFS!) booked online with Thai Airways. But in all cases the BMs were superb and happily spent a lot of time at HQ.

The month finished 25% up on a year ago. A remarkable achievement in these difficult times. Just what we needed, thanks boys! I hope we can have a similar success this month, and we can repeat the promotion next year.

What he didn't tell you, fellow BM, is that I offerred him an immediate partial rebate - but, as the true gentleman young Jim is .. he refused it and I promptly put it back across the bar, with interest.

The longer i am away the more I appreciate the quality and atmosphere of C&D.. thanks to Jim, Nick and Nong for running a Lb home away from the cares of the world.

Hope to be back in August ... say hello to Seyya, Emma, Paeng and Bombay for me!!

Great promotion Jimbo, I think its safe to say that all came back to you. 20,000 baht? Two irishman can rack that up in 1 nights bar bills. I think those newcomers will be sharing their great experiences there with others who will become the next generation of BM who make their 1st trek down. Its great hearing their positive comments and seeing their photos.
