Cool Josh. I was in BKK around the same time as you, didn't know there was a hotel where you were at, well maybe I did know but holy shit there are so many hotels it's all a blur after a while.
In your pic of the view from your window you see where I drew the arrow? One night I figured I would take a turn into the parking lot there and aim myself toward Guess Bar and right where those trees/bushes are is a jagged metal bar sticking right out. So I turn in and that fucking metal bar cut right into my arm (tore my shirt sleeve too of course). It was night and the bar is all rusted and coppery. I was really in pain there and actually dropped my BeerLaos.
Anyway it was really cool going to Guess Bar. I actually missed it the first couple nights because at night the seemingly pure white sign is hard to see from the street. When I finally did go there it was great. Introduced myself to Jay, it was a real pleasure to meet her, and also saw the famous Areeya come and leave with some really nice guys.
So anyway my good people, be careful of cutting through there those bushes there, haha. (I got sick from washing that cut in the water, completely forgot to avoid getting water in my blood!!)

I stayed at "the placetostay", Patong. Good location. Nice rooms, well furnished, nice staff. Tom is the owner, a gentleman, he will give you the info you need.

Sorry lads, i was busy for the last two weeks.
It is high time i finished this Trip Report.
Udon Thani: One week with my family (from day 14 to day 22, the end of September)
I mainly spent time with my parents, my brother and his thai wife and their baby. We all enjoyed our time, that was really nice.
