Sorry cannot resist, Singapore to Bangkok 2hrs (Shows 2.5hrs but they always manage it in under 2 from takeoff to landing.)

I often leave out Friday at 9:30pm (Local SG) and I'm sitting in a bar at midnight in Pattaya after a quick shower in the hotel :D

Bastard!

I leave from one of two places, depending on where I'm staying at the moment.

San Francisco, CA - Usually SFO to BKK is about 17-18 hours nonstop.

Detroit, MI - DTW to NRT (tokyo) and then NRT-BKK for a total of 21-22 hours in the air, with an additional hour or two on the ground in Tokyo.

I'm pretty sure I have one of the longest trips . From New York , I travel to Hong Kong or Tokyo and then on to BKK. total travel time is about 22 hours. I guess anywhere in the east of North America is about as far away from LOS as you can be. NYC , Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington, Miami . All will take about 24 hours but its worth every second

Toronto Bangkok Via Hong Kong, thanks to Cathay new direct flight, Journey is shortened by 2 hours.
Still 18 hours total flight time, excluding lay over in HK (2-1/2)

Yeah Woof,

Its the same from New York . Cathay Pacific is my favorite airline at the moment . 15 hours nonstop from NYC and then about 2.5 hours from HKG to BKK. I have tried JAL and American , and United, but I find Cathay has the best service, and best entertainment. Also HKG airport has better food then NRT , and the trip is a bit faster.

Portand, Maine to Washington DC or Chicago, then Washington DC or Chicago to Tokyo and then to Bangkok, minimum I did it was 28 hours, but did in 32 hours too. THANK GOD, I live in Bangkok now. The flying back and forth was driving me crazy.
