I'm an evergreen member too but found out yesterday that none of my 4 flights qualify for air miles.

I called them after entering my recent flights on their site, only to be credited with 0 miles!! They say only full fare flights qualify for air miles - apparently it is in the small print.

Zero miles!- Where have you been booking your flights LBs4Me?
Cheap Charlie Travel Inc.?

I noticed yesterday when I was searching for flights that EVA had some LHR to BKK for £553 for Evergreen members, but only within certain dates and maximum of one months stays.

The small print also revealed that they were only worth 80% air miles too :?

Opodo or Southall Travel or eBookers. Not dirt cheap and alll ABTA backed. Not sure why they said none of them counted?

You will find the same with many of the airlines these days ... except for the majors who can't afford to lose their FFs.

For example, from OZ, Thai and Singapore kill off FF miles on the heavily disocunted fares. Jetstar rarely is elgible. Qantas, on the other hand always seems to give FF points/status credits. Virgin Blue is strictly points per dollar spent -- actually seems the fairest!

i always book through opodo.
on the booking form there is a section "promotion code".
once clicked, all the reward names are on it.
emirates being skywards.
i then enter my skywards number , and emirates have always honoured the miles.

i presume you never gave the code when booking?

It's true that many airline frequent flyer programs are dropping mileage accumulations on highly discounted flights. Thai Airways has done this and Lufthansa has as well.

True, but i dont mind to get just 50% of the miles when i pay for a Berlin - Bangkok return flight 500 Euro back in May! Now i pay the double amount (around 950 Euro) for my flight in november (and will get the full miles of course)!

Depending where you want to party why not have one evening as a Party Tag.

Start in one bar - stay 1 to 2 hours then move on to Bar 2 etc etc

Start at 7.00pm you can cover 3 or 4 bars and then finish up in either Naklua or Walking St at 1.00am

So a suggestion for Pattaya would be
07.00pm La Bamba
08.30pm Stringfellows
10.00pm Pook Bar - Soi Bukhouw
11.30pm Kitten Club
All these are walking/staggering distance
Board Baht Bus for:
01.00am EZY Bar in Walking St or Family Bar Naklua

I am sure if we contacted each bar they could do a happy hour or something and maybe after the groups arrival the doors are closed until departure time. Just for privacy.

Will take some preparation with bar owners in advance and to be fair we would need to know exact numbers so it is worth their while to go "private" for 90 mins with a promo.

Of course someone would need to buy an umbrella that we can all follow - just like the Orientals do!

Good Idea Anthony.....Which date is most suitable in January :?

May I suggest Thursday January 8th meet up at LaBamba around 10.00pm and take it from there.

Rossco's schedule is clearly designed for the veteran forum members who need to be in bed by 2am

Seldom do I appear on Pattaya's Sois in drinking mode before ten pm, in a City which never sleeps, what is the point :?
