These drugs are all phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitors : of which there are three classes - Sildenafil (Viagra and Revatio), Tadalafil (Cialis) and Vardenafil (Levitra)

Tadalafil's work witihin 30 mins on a low dosage - 10mg (max 20mg /24 hours)

Sildenafil's work on higher dosage (50-100mg max 100mg/24 hour) and usually take about an hour.

Kamagra is a copy of Cialis, produced in India. Kamagra is not licensed for use in the UK.

Whats the point of this post -

These drugs are really dangerous, sorry but be really carefull when using them and don't exceed the daily amount.
You shouldn't drink when taking these meds but if you are you are "safer" using Tadalafil.

ps
the nhs pays £23.50 for a four pack of 100mg viagra
£24.99 for a 4 pack of 20mg cialis. Just so you know if you're getting ripped off.

Thanks for your post but I think you might be incorrect about Kamagra. I believe this is the generic Viagra. I have recently tried both the generic viagra and cialis and both seem to work w/o any problem, just like the name brand. I will heed your advice about overdosing.

bimale is correct, using drugs like Kamagra, Viagra, Penagra, Cialis can be risky especially when combined with any existing heart condition, alcohol and other recreational drugs.

There have been a number of deaths reported in Thailand related to the abuse of these drugs.

That is not to say it will happen 100% of the time, but the risk is much higher. Up to you if you want to go out earlier in life with a smile on your face!

Wrong...Kamagra, Penagra, et al. is a knockoff of Viagra...A diamond shapped pill sold in packs of 4...or in gel form...

But you are correct...they are dangerous if not used properly..Before you use any drug, you really should consult with your doctor...

Think it's a bit more complicated than that mate...

I'm sure RXpharm can offer expert advice...I believe diseases like diabetes may also pose some probs when taking some of these medications...

I wouldn't trust anyone here who claims something is a fact to give me medical advice...

Best advice...go see a doctor before you start popping these pills like M&M's...

What you don't know about your own health can kill you...

Well, I started this post awhile back and I have a question. There was a lot of talk about overdosing. Are these generic drugs any more dangerous than the brand name drugs? I generally take about 125mg of Viagra for the best effect and have not had any problems.

Thanks for all the info to everyone who replied.

Generic drugs from countries like India and China have varying standards of quality control. If it is a major pharmaceutical company with joint venture ties to a "western" pharmaceutical company their quality control would be quite high.

However, not all generic drug companies are like this. The main risk with these really cheap generics is the following: - the amount of drug in each tablet/capsule/sachet may not be consistent. One tablet of 100 mg may have 150 or 200 mg and the next may have 0 mg.

One should not overdose a medication because the risks of adverse effects increase dramatically - and the inconsistency of the cheap generics make it an even higher risk.

As Kahuna stated there are other medical problems besides high cholesterol and heart conditions that can make the use of erectile dysfunction drugs such as Viagra and Cialis dangerous - it is best to consult with your family physician for advice before use - or a physician who knows your comprehensive medical history.

Yep, I can see it now - Dr. I am going to Thailand for 3 weeks to screw my brains out with lbs - is it ok to take Viagra every day?

Agree with everything rxpharm says re: these drugs!

As to how they work for me personally, I have found that Kamagra gel is as good as it gets. At 100 baht for one 100mg dose, the price is right. I get less side effects than with any other drug. I've tried cialis, viagra, levitra and various generics of them and I find I get the best and fastest results with Kamagra.

I NEVER take more than one packet at a time, and seldom have more than one or two drinks either before or after.
