Thanks for the photos Jimbo . I have been paying attention just trying not to overdo the posting.
Not sure I find wet LBs all that appealing so I might give Songkran a miss .

Yes, songkran is not everybody`s cup of tea. Luckily, here in Phuket its only one day, and is therefore still quite fun if you get into it. But i couldn`t be doing with 5 - 7 days as in Pattaya!

I thought I'd escaped Songkran, escaping back to Melbourne before the festivities commenced however my Thai mother in law has just insisted on giving me the water treatment.

Thankfully it was kept to a religious experience and didn't turn into a wet T-shirt competition.
