Yes, songkran is not everybody`s cup of tea. Luckily, here in Phuket its only one day, and is therefore still quite fun if you get into it. But i couldn`t be doing with 5 - 7 days as in Pattaya!

I thought I'd escaped Songkran, escaping back to Melbourne before the festivities commenced however my Thai mother in law has just insisted on giving me the water treatment.
Thankfully it was kept to a religious experience and didn't turn into a wet T-shirt competition.

Sorry Auto, I have bad news: we discovered Erica has been using "ice" in the staff house. As we do not countenance drug taking, she has sadly had to go! I thought drug use was bad in the Uk, but its just as bad here! Why do they all want to fuck up their lives with that shit?
