Just heard that low cost carrier Nok Air are cutting their flights from Bangkok to Phuket soon. This means that the other carriers will have a massive incentive to up their prices for the journey.

If anyone is looking to travel to Phuket later this year maybe worth booking earlier rather than later with one of the other carriers.

This is really bad news for me as I personally love Patong, however Pattaya may now become a more haunted destination for my next tour of duty, depending on travel costs.

Hope it doesnt affect C & D Jimbo.

I think Nok Air will reconsider as OneTwoGo have just suspended their service due to financial problems (after the crash!). There are still 3 airlines to choose from so i dont think there will be any dramatic effect on prices, or service.
