Nan enjoying herself
Are you sure she was enjoying herself? Looks like she might have been upset that he needed a bigger bra than she does....
Love the pics of Ae and Sonya. Your updates to the forum are fantastic! Thanks Jim. Be back there in 4 months - seems so far away...

A rather dramatic event precluded me from taking any pictures:
LB Thieves!
Many of you know Tom who runs "The Place To Stay" guesthouse in soi Paradise. Well Tom is a good friend of the bar, and he came to see me last night on a serious matter. One of his guests came to C & D on saturday night and took 2 girls back with him after having a good few drinks with them first. When he woke the next day he discovered that his good quality alarm clock, and 1500 baht were missing. As he checked out on sunday morning he mentioned it to Tom. After he spoke to me, I went back to the bar to work out which 2 girls he had taken. They turned out to be Ji and Amy (pictured below). I brought mamasan and NingNong into a discussion and as my Thai is minimal I left them to qestion the girls.
After a heated meeting outside Ji said she had been given the clock. As her english is limited, and so is his, coupled with the large alcohol consumption, we decided to give her the benefit of the doubt this time.. Both girls denied taking any cash. NN, mamasan and myself went into a huddle as to the next step. As i had received a complaint about Amy a couple of weeks earlier, albeit an oblique one, from a third party with no real specifics, and the theft had taken place at the guys house after hours, I felt at that time i could not take any action. However, this being the second incident was too much of a coincidence and i told NN, who was fuming, that Amy should go. Well, NN dragged Amy outside and gave her a few ferocious slaps and told her to go now. Amy then had the walk of shame back into the bar to collect her things with everybody watching in silence as she trudged out in tears with the red marks on her face from the slapping. Justice Thai style, a few good slaps and instant dismissal with no salary, no holiday pay, no right of appeal, no nothing! But hopefully it will have served as a warning to anybody else thats tempted. Low Season is a desperate time for some of the lesser beauties and forces them to do desperate things.
So, BJORN, if you`re reading this please send me a private message or email me at [email protected]. I think you`re still in Thailand - you were going for a few days in Pattaya, and then back to BKK for a couple of nights before going back to Norway. I will send you an email in the hope you read it before you leave Thailand. I have your clock back and can either post it back to you, or keep it until your next visit. I`m afraid the money has gone, but if you would please come back to C & D on your next visit i will give you a "Drink All You Can" night, on the house. I seem to recall you drank shorts, so if you can drink a whole bottle (or 2) you`re very welcome at our expense. If you want beer, you can try to drink the fridge dry! Furthermore, if you would like to take another girl, the bar fine wil be waived. And finally, please accept my sincere apologies that a good night was spoilt. You may be feeling some guilt having read the consequences for Amy, but please dont, as this was her second incident, and once they start the stealing habit, they never stop. You have done the bar a favour by raising a complaint quickly, so that we could resolve it, and ultimately you may have done Amy a favour by breaking the habit before it got her into real trouble.
As a general comment: gentleman, if you have a problem with a girl, bring it to the attention of the mamasan or bar owner as soon as possible. Be as precise as you can with the details - name of the girl, details of the stolen property etc. Dont be scared to do it, as no bar owner wants a bad reputation or, just as bad, a bad write-up on the internet. I would hate to see a thread like the one currently running on the "Warnings" page about a certain bar in soi 6, Pattaya, being applied to C & D. Also be honest about it, no fairytales, as the consequences for the accused can be dramatic and damaging. The reason for taking a girl from a bar (and paying a barfine of course) is that you should feel safe and secure. Occasionally, a rotten apple gets in the barrel, and these need to be removed as quickly as possible. But we can only act if you tell us quickly, truthfully, and accurately.
Sorry no pictures now, as this incident rather put a damper on the night.

Good lesson (if needed) for other staff members.
Obviously it is difficult for any of us not in full possession of the facts to make a relevant comment and please take my few words for what they are however, gentlemen from the Nordic region are renowned for the ultra, extreme state of inebriation to which they succumb to whilst on their Thailand vacation.
Maybe Bjorn did give away the alarm clock and spend the (''stolen'') 1500 Baht :?
Nontheless thank you very much for the insight into the C&D zero tollerance justice system.

I applaud you on your quick action, and the fact that you deferred to NN to deal with the girls in question face-to-face...plus your generous remedy to the victim.....you are a class act.....others could have easily said mai pen rai and let it go, but you're sticking up for us westerners.....
Bottom line, when you visit C&D, Jimbo's got your back.....he's a good man and we should appreciate that....
Looking forward to partying with you again (and your lovely ladies at the bar!)
