Thanks Rossco - i must have walked right past it as i remember everything else you mentioned. ALso found Stringfellows ok... although that will be the subject of another post shortly.

I do actually read the forum ( a lot honest guv) but clearly need the wonderful map of Pattaya thats on google. Only prob is the Tim Boutique's wirless seems to be blocking access to it :(

Getting back to the topic in hand

I managed to get myself back down Soi yamoto ( 13/1) and did find it from the excellently clear directions of Rossco above !

They could do with a sign though, as i could have walked past again if not for the directions.

I got there around 1245 last night and it was a bit quiet although 2 gals were engaged upstairs i was told. Saw Janni and An (?) who were lovely but didn't get into it as it was a little slow for me.

To be fair thats probably the time of year ?

Well it has been long enough since the Legends @ La Bamba Bar Party so all the returns have come in and I can safely say that they were all positive.

The Party was a success and I can say that everyone in attendance had a great time.

I would like to thank all the BMs that attended and helped make this a great night; Special thanks go to Kliome, DirtyMike, Anthony70, LarryLarry, Matchman, DixonCox, RugbyJock, Batman4Ever, Sev7en and Rossco.

Some of the LBs in attendance were Alis, Sonya, New, Nam, Oh, Janni, Ice, Patty, Pui, Yu, and Chin.

Now we have to swab the decks and prepare for the arrival of Monkeyman on May 8th for the first half of his 40th Birthday Party. I wonder how many BMs with a drink in one hand and a ladyboy on their lap can fit into the first and second floors of the LaBamba?

Cheers Everyone,

Don't suppose there are any photos from the Party for all the forum members unable to attend ? :D

Been here a couple of days now and La Bamba remains the number one choice for guys to meet.

But someone soon is gonna give that miserable kid behind the counter a serious pounding.

His attitude is quite simply rude, dismissive and incompetent.

Pampamsam,

Stogie is totally correct about this guy.

I understand this may be a delicate matter to address, but surely you can come up with a solution ?

I have had other forum members make similar remarks to me.

Been a couple months since I was there but presumably you are talking about Porn's boyfriend; the guy with specs :?:
His English and bar tendering skills are poor, although apart from the monthly party nights (when cocktails should be off the menu) I think he does enough to get by

I don't claim to know Chin very well, but have chatted to her briefly on a number of ocassions since she arrived on the scene back at Club 131.

I get the impression she has her good days & bad days.

I paid for a few large bottles of beer for her and some of the girls to enjoy one evening, and she was very appreciative.

The next night I returned, and I didn't get as much as a "hello". :?

Was checking out her photo shoot on Extreme Ladyboys just yesterday, and she did look surprisingly sexy.

Cheers

Although I like the place the dude behind the bar didn't bother me as I possibly paid him the least attention of all the people in there and overall I like the place.

But I have a few comments about the place in general:
- On party nights or when it is busy I would recommend paying for drinks as you go or check-binning every few rounds, as there were several 'clumsy' placings of chits into the wrong containers and some people ended up with incorrect bins. Trying to deal with issues like this in Thailand... well we all know what that's like.
- The music sucks. In fact has anyone ever heard or seen anything other than Beyonce, Shakira or Christina Aguilera DVD's playing? - To suggest the music is tedious would be an understatement. This is a comment I have heard numerous times from other BM's and I totally concur. Please do something about the music, just cos there is a big TV screen doesn't mean the punters have to endure a small selection of music DVD's all the time

If you are really cool they can put a Johnny Cash concert , they have it somewhere mixed up with all those pop gay dvds.
