La Bamba will be hosting a number of themed evenings over the coming weeks and months. Plans for each are at a somewhat nebulous stage, so any suggestions from customers re what they would like to see/eat/happen on the night will be most welcome.
The first one:
As you can imagine, the music will be from the psychedelic era (though not exclusively psychedelic music), the lighting in the bar will be trippy, and the girls will be dressed appropriately...

Just to be clear re the music for the Psychedelic Night - all the music on that night will be from the period 1965-1971.
All suggestions from customers for music from that period will be most welcome.

Customers in La Bamba may be interested to note a laptop on the bar.
Customers are very welcome to choose music from iTunes, YouTube, & etc.
A new thread will open soon - La Bamba Top 10 - on which you are invited to create a 10-song playlist, and then we can put it on iTunes, with your forum name attached. Then, when you come to La Bamba, you won't need to spend ages searching music - simply click on your own personal playlist.

It seems one made a bit of a boo-boo with one lady's name. Here is the same photo with the correct name:
You may also hear Not referred to in the bar as Nok. That IS her name, but the owner of La Bamba is Nok, so Nok's name has been changed to Not. As in not Nok. So Nok is Nok and Not is not Nok. I'm sure this is as clear as things are going to get.

La Bamba has a wee bit of a dilemma.
Should we:
a) have a BIG party on Dec 27 to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary in the 'new' location, and a wee party on Dec 31 to celebrate New Year?
or
b) combine the two parties on Dec 31?
Personally, I think a) is the better option, but we will go with the general feeling provided by the customers.
