A jolly good time was had by all.

 

Many thanks to Nok and the La Bamba ladies for making it a great night.  Thank you to so many of you who got into the spirit and wore something tartan.  (Still not 100% convinced by BB with his 'MacGregor' 'tartan' bra.  Neither was he, and he generously ponied up for the charity fund).

 

Just to be 100% clear - ALL of the charity proceeds will be going directly to the orphanage.  Thanks to all of you who did NOT wear tartan on the night!  And thanks to all who DID wear tartan, and still contributed.

 

I shall post some pics of the visit Nok and the girls are planning to make on Monday.

It's blank for me also (laptop/Firefox). Moo Yung must be able to see it as he likes it.

 

Can't see in IM or Chrome either.

This forum has a black background on all my machines, so the text (if copied and pasted from another forum, as this was) has been changed to white.  Try highlighting where you think the text is, then you'll be able to read it.

Yes, it was written in white so not viewable on those who choose the white theme for the forum. I've changed the text to 'auto'. 

 

When making a post the text colour will be auto, meaning white on black background and black on the white background. If you copy and paste or chose a set colour you can correct this by highlighting the text and clicking the 'Remove Format' button which looks like a eraser (second button from top left).

 

For the record, I would have liked the post even if I couldn't see it, I'm just a nice guy.

 

Sadly missed the La Bamba event, which I was looking forward to. The night before Xyzzy 'forced me' to drink Yar Dong in a sleazy alley with a gang of beach road ladyboys, until the early hours. I'm not even kidding. Its 3 days on and I still have a hangover.

  Who did what to whom and caused me to miss the party. No wonder when I sent a text saying I wasn't going you just replied "OK". You were in much more of an arm twisting mode when you were buying bottle after bottle of Yar Dung Dong. Admittedly my arm wasn't that strong. Everyone give Moo Yung a bottle of Yar Dong (and maybe some haggis) when his birthday next rolls around.

 

  Sorry, back to the La Bamba thread.
