While in LaBamba last month having a beer with me ole mate Jen, she mentioned that the business would soon be moving across the Soi next door to where it all began in 2007 under the recently deceased King of Con Franck.

Any news on this project, any one ?

Arsonist, I will give you the short version, but p.m me if you want any more details.

Basically, as of next week 28th December, La Bamba will relocate to the former Legless Arms bar, directly across the road from current location. The set up will be identical, but Nok has told me of a few minor improvements she hopes to make over the coming months. All the staff will have rooms above the bar, but there will also be 4 or 5 guest rooms to rent by the week/months, which will have private access to the side of the bar.
The reason for the move was because the greedy Thai bitch of a landlady was doubling their monthly rent and asking for 230k key money per annum. Nok has happily told her to stick it where the sun don't shine.
Rennovations are being completed as we speak, I will post pics of the new bar as soon as Nok sends them to me.

p.s. brother Rossco should be commended as he was instrumental in ensuring this deal went through, otherwise L Bamba was in serious danger of being no more.

Whist it's a nice idea which I applaud them for. Unless these rooms are going to be fitted out to a high spec, it would take a true ladyboy aficionado whom would wish to spend his vacation living and sleeping in one of their brothels

Thanks for the update guys, I'll look on the right rather than the left as I head down to Beach road.
Will be really curious as to the level of the "Guest Rooms as well as basic details, ie Safe etc come new year.

I agree fully Asonist. Much as I love La Bamba, indeed that is where I park myself for the majority of the time while in Patts, I don't think I would like to stay under their roof. The jealousy if taking an outside LB back to ones boudouir could be too much to handle.

It would have some advantages Dave, pretending to be a little too drunk and going to the, err, wrong room every night would be fun. But it would get old very quickly.

..is that Nancy in the white 2-piece dress & gleaming pearly whites; if it isnt I like whoever it is.. would never recognize her now anyway without having seen her here & from the La Bamba website pics, she has a totally different look now than when she 1st appeared on LB websites..
