I agree with Pentire here, and that point was confirmed by Cindy recently.
It seems that when they see their "regulars" coming to bar, they assume the guys are there for a few beers and a chinwag with the lads, so tend to leave them alone to their conversations.
Good point about the music though, I brought three 70's and 80's cd's to LaBamba for my birthday party. I think Nok played half the first cd, then it was back to Beyonce. This isn't a swipe at Nok, who IMO is a fantastic girl and runs a great bar, but like others , I think if the music issue could be addressed, it would add to the experience of the bar.

Though it would be nice if the music was different, I don't ever recall leaving or for that matter not visiting the bar due to what was being played. I guess I'm pretty good at ignoring it. It would be nice if there was a mix that would please the employees as well as the customers.
I admit it has been a while since this happened, but I bought a ladydrink and the lady took the drink and went outside with it. I did let Nok know about that.
Since I sometimes have a bit of a breathing problem when there are too many cigarettes inside, I visit the lady's outside so I guess it is not all bad.

In la bamba the same happen if you came alone too, this force you to choice a lady before enter when looking for same.
In those days i ve find the same situation in famous bar, i was there just two times, find the ladies sit outdoor, the door closed and one of them open the door for me and start chat.
In my last holiday when arrived in famous alone in the afternoon, and was the only customer get the attention of all ladies
a warm welcome was more better than now

Although in the past I agree the laydees stayed outside when the regulars came in.
But this trip I enjoyed plenty of LB company at the bar which was great, and as a result took a number of them back to the pad.

I enjoyed meeting the lads in the bum-bar and the ladiez would leave you to it. If one of the lads wanted some company all he had to do was make it known he was in the market for fish....
I liked going for that reason, in the other establishments you would often get mauled as soon as you had one foot over the threshold.. Some lads like that and others don't..
The music doesn't bother me really, they get their jollies and get all girlie when their fav comes on and thus in turn giving the lads a little show too.. Quite entertaining so it is.
One thing that does get annoying though is smoke in my face.. I'm not a smoker and I really dont want to be inhaling other lads smoke.. I also don't want to be moving away from my chosen perch because someone sparks up next to me. This has been brought up in the past by other BM's as well. I've not had a drama I suppose, as such, but I know a few who have..
I guess that if you have a party there and there is music brought in for the party thrower then he should be able to have it playing as much as he likes.. His privilege after all for paying for the party.. No?
IMHO, the reason lads make bum-bar their chosen venue is for the reasons given, if the chemistry of the place is altered or no longer to our liking then as is historically played out - lads will choose another venue.
If it ain't broke... Don't fix it..

I'm not nearly the vet that DK is, but I'll chime in on this - I took 2 or 3 different girls from here last time, and found it's the rare LB bar where the girls seem to have an enlightened attitude about those of us that butterfly. I took both Sindy and Nok in separate visits, and believe I also took Ice from this bar on the same trip (or maybe the previous trip?). Anyway, I just told the girls up front I butterfly and want to take another girl from club the next time and they were fine about it. I suspect that Nok talks to the girls about this exact issue during their monthly in-house staff meeting.
Nok doesn't get enough credit for the fantastic job she does in managing the place. I can't wait - less than 40 days now! - as I see at least one other (Lanny) that I'll want to get as a takeout from here, along with return trips for Sindy and Nok.

I'd agree with that I actually felt quite sick at times with the amount of smoke being blown in my face , in my opinion smokers shouldn't be smoking indoors .

As a smoker I totally agree, we should be made to go outside for a woodbine. After all, it's not like at home where you freeze yer nuts off going for a smoke. If the policy of not smoking inside the bar was enforced, like at Guess Bar for example, there would be no complaints from me.
I think the fear with enforcing it, is that there are some (a lot) of guys who go there under the radar and may feel too much in the public eye if they had to go outside for a puff, thus losing the bar some trade.

As a "smoker" myself 
I will "not" smoke at the bar unless I am the only person in the bar or the other guys at the bar are smokers too.
Even then I will still mostly venture outside for a "puff" to look at the girls and watch them trying to "entice" the passers by, its a lot more fun too
I do respect non-smokers and agree us leppers should go outside
