LaBamba is quieter than loud with music. BM's usually visit Labamba early in the evening rather than late, whereas Ezy is hopping late at night.
Rarely do guys stay in one bar over another, rather they often find themselves engaged in a ladyboy hunt that takes them from one bar to another, looking for the LB that will satisfy them. I often find myself drifting to Stringfellows and/or Ezy.
I know that is the case with myself

Marsha (or Harold) was one of the most intriguing ladyboys in there, with a nice big bottom to boot.If Marsha sits on you you'll know about it......

I have heard Marsha called Yu but never "Harold". Are you sure we are talking about the same person?

When I was in Pattaya last week, I watched as Nok submitted her sacrifice to Buddha on the alter outside the top floor of LaBamba.
She had to climb outside the window of the top floor to bring her sacrifice to Buddha's alter. Nobody had used this alter in over 3 years.

That must rank as the most incorrect interpretation of this I've ever heard, vindicated only by the fact it's the majority's assumption. For many, a little more time outside the bar-scene wouldn't go a miss.... submitted her sacrifice to Buddha on the alter.
I digress...

this was a reflective moment shared with the forum of Nok making an offering on a seldom used alter.....
To me it displays her wish for good luck for the future of La Bamba.....
This is surely commendable........

That is how I saw it. You seem to be the expert on everything so perhaps from where you sit Mr. Cox you can tell us majority what really happened....

That is a Spirit House - its not specific to budhism - and its a way of keeping the spirits in the building from causing problems - the logic goes that by taking care of the Spirit House, its a better and more happy place for the spirits to live in and thus look after the people in the main house, so long as its kept well stocked with food and water, looked after etc etc. Thai's believe all buildings contain spirits - hence you see spirit houses almost everywhere - they are sacred and should not be interfered with.
if you have Buddhist monks come in as an example, they will not do the ceromony at the spirit house - for that you need other people to officially open a spirit house and do the ceromony and also if one gets moved - you also need special people to come in and handle it, so as not to upset the spirits on the land/building.
Simply put - the Spirit House is an integral part of Thai culture and your best to allow them to do whatever they want concerning it - it will make your staff feel much much happier.
