Very nice pictures, Mardhi.

I should definitely at least once drop into Guess Bar during my next stay in Bangkok.

Mardhi, it would be of a great help for us if you wrote comments on the pictures, indicating the names of the girls, say "From left to right: Fah, ... etc". The girls would profit from it, too.

I don't think he knows all their names yet Bully. Lot of new hirings. I can tell you that the total babe in white dress at top of this page is Gate. She looks great in anything.

I haven't been to the Guess Bar for a few months. Is Khun Yo out of circulation still ? Her and Ink were my favourites. Bia and Jenny were a stretch goal...

Its probably fair to say that the bar has been going through something of a odd time over the last couple of months - however to the casual observer its still business as usual. Jay has set up another business and that is now stable and she is back focused & in attendance at Guess bar now. She has already redecorated the exterior and is about 90% complete on the inside of the bar.

The bar is currently recruiting another dozen or so staff of which 5 have started already. Some have moved on and others continue to work in between stints in Singapore etc.

Early September is historically a 'dead' time in BKK as business travellers start to return and holidaymakers tend to head back after the main school holidays., hence its a good time to do all this work now The plans have been laid for a (iMHO) overdue make over and all will be revealed over the coming weeks.

By the way, I have not even seen what is being done as I am tied up on another project myself and have not been in Guess for the last 3 weeks.

good update thanks I was wondering what was happening at Guess Bar given all the staff movements and some negative posts about the place recently.

venues all have their ups and down in staffing and the general feel about them. Guess is one of the better bars in BKK and I look forward to checking out the changed since my Feb 09 visit.


Can any BM who is friendly with Jane please ask her for a pic or 2 of the new decor and current line up.

The bar refurb is nearly complete and 3 sets of new uniforms for the staff have arrived so here are some pictures of said staff modelling their new uniforms.
