That's good news regarding Phuket.

I was considering Phuket for a few days as well. I looked at flights and fairs from BKK. I saw 244.00(us) round trip and a three night package for 400.00(us) That was for the dates of April 23 -April 26th. The flight from BKK leaves at 12:35 and lands at 1:55.

i have had a rummage at rooms in phucket.
last september, c&n 700 a night. this year 1200 a night.
looking at gay friendly guest houses via google. the price drops on may the 1st. with some basic rooms at 450.
all the rooms are around the paradise complex(gay).
which needs no defence from me.
thats where ill be heading.
seriously, i am considering my last week or at least 5 days on phucket and fly phucket- bangkok -home.
i leave on 6th.may.
but as we know, see how it is on the ground.

I'm definitely up for it, and those dates would suite me fine.

In fact I'd much prfer to go in the company of the legend, you seem to know Phuket very well, I'm usre you can lead the tour.

hmmm maybe a good idea to visit phuket...could go there on the 28/29...stay for 3-4 days...then hit BKK the last couples of days... before leaving los on the 5 in the evening :wink:

I'm happy to plan a Phuket trip around you guys.

Looks as though Batman and Anthony are leaving on 5/6 May, so maybe you should work the best dates out between you.

Flying out with AirAsia on 28/29/30 looks very cheap.

I recon it's about 3000bht return flight.

Guys, if you need help with accomodation in Phuket, I can get good quality Guesthouse rooms for 600 baht at that time. Only drawback is they`re in Nanai Road which is not really walking distance to the action. But sharing tuk-tuks is always good fun! Or maybe hire a couple of bikes? Oops theres a joke there somewhere lol
