I was not thinking of copying things off a medical site. I'm a med-student but I'm not up to date with the exact risks of oral sex - I was planning on doing a search for oral sex and various STD's in pubmed (a database that indexes all articles in medical journals)

If you want - then I can post my references aswell - that way you could check out the articles I've used as my sources.

Please let me know if you want me to list my references in the post.

For me, that's the best part of giving an LB oral, receiving the ejaculation. I'm not a doctor but If you shallow i would have thought theres a high possibility - logic dictates.

I have read in other forums that your own stomach acid should deal with it etc. But i am sceptical - and i always ask the LB to cover up.

Without being graphic, I've actually found that most LBs will swallow, and often they like to do it without asking.

There is a real risk of being infected with HIV, chlamydia, gonnorhea, herpes and others.

Regarding HIV: recent studies indicate that the risk of oral sex is higher than previously thought. In two recent studies the authors conclude that 5-8% of the new HIV-infections was caused by unprotected oral sex.

I would highly recommend that you do not engange in unprotected oral sex. Regarding spitting or swallowing - there's mixed oppinions on this and not really any scientific fact. If you do engange in unprotected oral sex I would recommend avoid having the girl cum in your mouth or at least that you spit right away - as you reduce the exposed mucosal area - do not brush your teeth for at least 3-4 hours prior to your sexual encounter, and that you flush your mouth with hydrogenperoxid and/or an other disinfectant like chlorhexidine right after the oral sex/spitting.

I will make a detailed post on this topic soon in which i will comment on the risk of getting infected with HIV and other STD's
