I was there more than 3 years ago already. I don't believe that KL is a hit or miss. As in Bangkok, Pattaya or Thailand, experience helps finding the right one. Georgetown : make a walk from Jalan Muntri to Lebu Chulia. Don't cut short on Leith street but walk on Jalan Penang. Just got back from KL - Wechat is the way to go now...forget hunting around the streets ..get on the app and go go go....could not believe how different it was this time compared to last.
