Hi folks,

Just having a look at this thread & “sizing” it up noted no new posts since Jan 30, 2017. So I’m curious if in the interim there’s been any “big” new stars looming “large” on the horizon or has this new generation let us all down & made us “long” for the stars of yesteryear such as Longmint, Nancy & Nadia? I guess they don’t build em like they used to... :-(

I feel the days of the "superstar" have probably passed. There are likely lbs as big or bigger than the stars of the past - however, they are not as well promoted as there are more ways for them to be known. Many lbs are now advertising on Thai Friendly, especially since "Backpages" has been shut down by the US Gov't, and Craig's List concerned about the same fate is restricting adult ads as well.

 

It seems fewer are doing the websites photoshoots and videos as they can earn enough from the new contact methods. You will hear of a few from those board members who are still willing to post trip reports, but due to the misguided practice of reporting these reports to the lbs in question by some short sighted individuals, the trip reports with photos have declined a great deal, as have trip reports in general.

Thanks rxpharm for your insightful take on my lighthearted query.. Your knowledge of the scene & level headed, non judgmental take on a variety of LB related issues I always find interesting reading.

I am very much a “part” timer on the scene as LB’s are an occasional but delightful aside from the GG’s but the forum is a valuable instrument for lsomeone like me keep current & get the good oil from you guys who live the life. Cheers...🍻

I understood Nancy was all loved up apparently with some Australian guy. I guess he must finally have finally flown the white flag.
