Jim, glad to hear that everyone at C&D's is safe and sound. Hopefully they will catch the bombers soon! Also again a testament to C&D's good service and your ongoing promotion on the forums that allow you to maintain your business through tough times. Wishing you and C&D's ongoing success!

 

 Thanks for your comment rx. It was immensely cheering last night, that our great BMs didn't hesitate to come to the bar and give their support. 

 

 The empty thai-owned bars around us were green with envy. Soi Bangla was deathly quiet, yet there we were in our little oasis with happy girls, bell-ringing customers, and a proud barowner. Wonderful. I came home (alone) with a lump in my throat.

 That's a strange notion, Batters. Only a Dane would think of that! Uncle Prayut already has all the power he needs for at least the next 16 months.

 

 Personally, i think it was our muslim cousins making a statement, and everything will calm down - for the time being.

well you know...the Danes got the brains...5-5-5-5-5  the reasons i DONT believe its the muslims this time...

 

1) they havent claim responsibility for the attacks...

2) the amount of deaths and wounded was way to low for them...they normally goes for big numbers...the few (sad) deaths almost seemed "accident"

 

just a feeling iwe got...almost the same as the "coup" in Turkey lately... dont believe it for a second...all the actions AFTER seemed planned for months...

 Well the thai muslims (from the south) rarely, if ever, claim responsibility Batters. The "equipment" used was much the same as that used by the insurgents in Malaysia. If it was the dreaded ISIS, i agree, the toll would have been much higher. The thai muslims don't usually cause much harm to their fellow citizens, they just like to remind the government that they're still around and should be treated with respect.

 

 But time will tell.
