I think she is still back home. I'm waiting to hear back from Kanjana the owner when she is coming back. The staff can go home without facing LT bar fines like the notorious CIB.

She went home to make Passport as they call it. She will be back soon. Also heard that they will be rolling out a new promotion in April for Forum members. The 3 drinks for the price of 2 ends April 4th.

They should change the system a bit especially as Kanjan is not always in. She wasn't the two nights I have visited them earlier this week.
It is a bit weird to approach the girl in charge, often Mint if not barfined, saying "I want to use the promotion as I am a forum member"
Surely they know about forums, but not everyone is keen to open up his papers.
I had a fair amount of drinks one evening totalling to well over 3000 if not been 4000, surely the promotion could have kept the bill slightly lower and/or sound as a sign of appreciation to the customer. But didn't feel like saying to Mint "I am a forum member, please discount": she is a working girl there and she might look at me as some one who can post photos or whatever on a public forum.
The VIP card at Paradise is a better approach, in my opinion, as it keeps vague why one has the card..

She is new to running a bar and the whole promotion discount vip thing is something she is learning. She is quite willing to try new things which will be good for the customers and the bar IMO.

She has a house in Singapore so travels quite a bit, but her brother works behind the bar, so I'm assuming he is well versed on the Forum discount. At least I hope. The more customer that use it the easier it will be for them.

I would like to wish them success as the more lb bars there are the better it is for the lb fans. I think the suggestion of the VIP card is something they can consider.

indeed, that was my point, giving a suggestion from customers.
I didn't know that her brother is behind the bar.
One night Mint was kind of duty as "acting manager". I saw a young thai guy there , but busy in playing pool, they learnt from the LB, so whilst being staff his role was unclear. We also well know how thai are sometime not easy in English understanding.
Anyhow, the hint has been given, up to them.
