MadMoker, I've already posted my congratulations and well wishes, also would like to thank you for sharing about the process you've taken to get your wife to be, to the UK.
You've made a good point about sharing information - that is one of the reasons why forums exist, and while most here like to see the photos and hear the stories, others are trying to do what you are in the process of doing.
Thanks again, and I hope this encourages others to share as well - not only about getting an lb to your home country, but about your experiences with lbs as well.

Enjoy, am sure you will.

Good luck.

Hi MadMoker
I am one of the guys who pm'd you.
I am sure there are many guys who are on this site who are going through the same process as you are but are just looking for information and do not want to reveal themselves.
There are good reasons why not, here's mine.
I am a teacher, I have built up a very successful peripatetic teaching business that gives me an income easily exceeding that required by UK immigration for someone applying for a fiancee visa.
I came across this story some time ago, some of you will be familiar with it, others probably not.

I have no wish to be 'hounded' out of my job. This guy was just a caretaker for god's sake.
In my own life I am not shy about upholding others' rights, I've also shot down quite a few transphobes on message boards here and there. I met my intended partner through MLD. When I went to visit her I asked the owners of the site if we could meet them in Makati (my partner is a great fan of Maki and was excited and nervous when I suggested it) we've become friends since.
I don't care about others' opinions and prejudices relative to my own private life, just as I don't care what others do privately as long as no harm is being done, I do however, need to work, to survive and will not jeopardise my income by trying to be altruisic.
Having said that, I take your point about taking and not giving. I have done a lot of research about getting a fiancee visa so I am going to start a thread sharing what I've found and explaining in detail the process and pitfalls I've come across.
Hope that redresses the balance somewhat.

Thanks for the update MadMoker! Good to hear things are progressing well, and she is on the path to get her UK nationality with the proper gender on her passport!

Thanks so much for providing an update after so long time. Much appreciated. I will myself most likely go through same procedure at some point - just trying to find "the right one". But brilliant to hear about some love stories instead of only p2p stories. Wish you all the best and I hope you will stay happy with her for many many years!!
