Hey ASJ, I'm already planning my end of year trip to Thailand. I'm thinking of spending 4 days in Chiangmai ? Any thoughts ?

I would say 4 days is plenty for the limited LB bar scene in Chiang Mai.  Doesn't have the wealth of LB's but the city itself and it's surroundings are quite nice.  You alo need to time your bar visits by the shutdowns.  Boxing complex bars (Marina and Shamrock) are closed at midnight. Loh Kroh Road (Friends Corner, and M&M bar) close at 1 A.M.  Nine bar which is down by the night bizarre is open all night.  It's owned by Shamrock owners so you can easily get directions from Serge the owner.

Have been ripped off at marina bar and never going to visit that place again.
Shamrock was ok last time i visited CM. Planning to come back for a short visit again.
Do you have any info on the one in the first pic of the "Shamrock chix" post? Beautiful face

I had a small altercation with Marina over a LB who got herself a drink on my bin. When I called Marina attention to it she went into this big song and dance how she has been there 13 years. I paid for the drink and said fine, I won't be back tomorrow!  Then she slid me the baht for the drink. So I went back.  This last trip a ladydrink I didn't buy appeared on the bill. When I brought it to her attention she said it was my friends drink who had bar fiend a Marina girl and left already. Her comment was get it from your friend.  Furthermore she has run off many customers over the years. I've met a couple of guys who never go there anymore because of her. It's a shame because there aren't that many options in CM for ladyboys.

 

The Shamrock girl in the photo is Ice (I think)  She has no silicone, smokes a lot. I was going to bar fine her from Shamrock one night, but she didn't like my price.  Then at Nine bar later she said she would go with me, but I had bad feeling about it by then so I gave her the pass. 

 

The Bar nine crew is essentially the Shamrock girls.  Same owner. Bar nine is more of an after hours place as Shamrock get closed by the Police at midnight most nights like all the boxing complex bars.  Bar nine has maybe two ladyboys working there until the reinforcements come after midnight. They are bartendees.  There are also freelancers who stop by Bar Nine.

Shamrock Bar celebrates their 4th Anniversary with a party tonight at the bar.
