The Shamrock Bar is still open for the time being. They have opened a new bar called "Bar Nine" thats about 200 meters down towards the Night Bizarre. It just opened September 1st. The Shamrock Bar and other bars in the boxing complex get shut down around midnight each night which is making it hard for them to make baht in that short window. Alledgedly they want to close those for whatever reason. Serge the owner of Shamrock says he will eventually close The Shamrock and focus on Bar Nine which stays open until 5 A.M. The Shamrock is all ladyboys and they go down to the new bar when The Shamrock closes. The only other totally dedicated to ladyboy bar is Marina Bar which is also in the Boxing Complex.
Some other bars in the Boxing complex have a ladyboy or two, but you have to keep your radar on.
Friends Corner which i may start a thread on when I get a chance has a mix of Ladyboys and GG's. Mostly ladyboys and a couple of stunners along with a big femboy with a big cock. The bar is located on Loh Kroh road soe they don't get shutdown until 1 A/M., but they will pull the shudders down if customers are wanting to keep drinking,

Note: I have just visited Chiang Mai twice recently in Juen and in Ausgust. It's much more laid back atmosphere and no where near the numbers of ladyboys as BKK or Pattaya. However plenty of good ones there for a short visit. Lots of freelancers too although I didn't take any, but had plenty of warnings about them. I talked to one whose eyes told a chemcial tale.
